About the Directorate
The Directorate of Prioritization, Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME) was established in the year 2013 at administrative office, SKNAU, Jobner. The Directorate is majorly responsible for documentation and publication of activities and progress of the University at regular intervals. This Directorate also coordinates and monitors all developmental programmes and activities of the University. Director PME is the Nodal Officer for handling all kind of correspondences to the Raj Bhawan. Preparation of annual report and Varshik Prativedan of the University required during the budget session of the Government, telephone directory and preparation of monthly progress reports of University and communicating it to the Chancellor of the University and Hon’ble Governor, Rajasthan and Chief Minister, Govt. of Rajasthan are some integral activities of this cell. This cell is also responsible for collection and compilation of University information, pertaining to progress and achievements, as and when demanded by various government and non-government agencies. Various correspondences to the CMO, national and international organizations are carried out by this unit. In addition to this, the Directorate plays a major role in arranging for accreditation of the University and constituent colleges of the University and therefore, prepares necessary pre-requisites of accreditation such as LOI (Letter of Intent) IEA (Institutional Eligibility for Accreditation) and Self Study Report of University and its constituent colleges for the submission to Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi. Moreover, the Directorate of PME maintains linkages with the State government departments, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, State Agricultural Universities, various departments of Govt. of India and other organizations in the best interests of the University.

Profile of Director 


Professor S. K. Khandelwal, renowned Horticulture Scientist & Educationist is serving as Director, PM&E in SKNAU, Jobner. Born on 21st August, 1968 at Dausa (Rajasthan) Dr. Khandelwal obtained his B.Sc. (Ag.) in 1989, M.Sc. (Ag.) 1992 and Ph.D. in 1999 in Horticulture from RAU, Bikaner. Dr. Khandelwal initiated his professional career in 1996 as Assistant Professor (Horticulture) at KVK, Sirohi. He has contributed in the field of transfer of horticultural technologies for upliftment of the socio economic status of the farmers. He was transferred at Department of Horticulture, SKN College of Agriculture, Jobner in July, 2000 and involved in the teaching activities. Dr. Khandelwal served in AICRP on Arid Fruit project in the Department of Horticulture, SKN College of Agriculture, Jobner since 2003 to 2015. He was assigned the responsibility of the Project Incharge from 2010 to 2015. Dr. Khandelwal also discharged the responsibility as University Head, Department of Horticulture from 2013 to 2015. He also performed various responsibilities i.e, Incharge, Landscape Cell, Farm Incharge, Asalpur Farm, Incharge, Fruit and Ornamental Nursery and others during this period. Dr. Khandelwal was transferred at Rajasthan Agricultural Research Institute, Durgapura and served as Project Incharge, AINRP on Onion & Garlic from 2015 to 2018. Afterwards, Dr. Khandelwal was assigned the responsibility as Zonal Director Research, Agricultural Research Station, Fatehpur and worked there from February, 2020 to April, 2021. On 23.07.2021 joined as Director, PM&E, SKNAU, Jobner.

Dr. Khandelwal is nominated as member in Rajasthan Kisan Ayog, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur in August, 2022 and member in Board of Management (BOM), SKNAU, Jobner in June, 2022. He is also acted as member in several steering committees like Academic Council, Board of Studies, Extension Education Council, Research Council, Course Committee, Consultancy Services committee and preparation of Vision document of SKNAU, Jobner committee, Technical committee of National Mission on Medicinal Plant, Screening Committee of National Horticulture Board etc. He has developed one variety of Lasoda i.e, Karan Lasoda-1 and more than 15 production technologies of arid fruits, medicinal plants and vegetables. He has published more than 27 research papers, 88 popular articles, 03 book chapters, 05 technical bulletins, 09 folders and delivered more than 57 Radio and TV Talks and guided 34 students of M.Sc. (Ag.) and Ph.D level. Dr. Khandelwal organized 02 National Workshops in the capacity of Organzing Secretary and 01 national conference in the capacity of Co-organizing secretary.
