The Department of Statistics, Mathematics and Computer Science consists of four subjects; Statistics,Mathematics, Computer Science and English.
AIMS
•To enable U.G. students to understand the quantitative techniques of Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science.
•To impart the theoretical & practical exposure of communication skill in English.
•To guide M.Sc. (Ag.) and Ph.D. students about the Statistical techniques and research methods that helps them to analyse their research data and interpret the results.

Activities
Major activity of the department is teaching and to provide consultation to the students and staff regarding statistical methodology and design of experiments. The department also maintains a computer laboratory for imparting training on computer usage. M.Sc. ICT (Agriculture) course started from 2014-15 session in the department.
