Born on 15th Feburary, 1968 at village Mandha Bhim Singh, District Jaipur (Rajasthan).He did his schooling from Dudu and Jobner and got 81.33 % marks in 10th and 75.75% marks in high secondary with distinction in Physics, Chemistry and maths.
Dr.Singh passed B.Sc.(Ag) with Honours from SKNCOA,Jobner in 1989 and got Bhamashah award (Gold medal). He obtained masters degree in Agronomy discipline from SKNCOA, Jobner in 1992 and secured 85.15% marks (3.83/4.00 OGPA) and awarded Doctoral degree from RCA,Udaipur.
He has joined as Assistant Professor (Agronomy) in RAU,Bikaner (Now SKRAU) on 7th May,1996 in the Agromet. Advisory Services at ARS, Durgapura. He has promoted as Associate Professor (Agronomy) in 2008 and Professor from 7.5.2011.
Out of 24 years of service carrier he served as researcher, teacher, guide and administrator. He has served as master trainer (Agronomy) from 2012 to 2018(6 years); Nodal officer (Agriculture Universities of state) from 2014 to 2019(5 years) and Nodal Officer, GKMS (from 2015 to 2020(5 years) and Head, Division of Agronomy from 1.1.2019 to 24.1.2020. He was also Member of BOM, SKNAU for two years (26.3.2015 to 25.3.2017) and invitee member of Academic Council in 2017,2018, 2019 & 2020.
For excellent services in Agromet. Advosory Services (Now GKMS) his Unit got best unit award at National Level (2005-6) and got Krishi Seva Ratan award (State award) in 2007 for best services for the farming community of state. He also got University award in 2011 & 2018 for getting external projects & received Appreciation letter from Hon’ble Vice Chancellor in 2019 for excellent services for recruitment of teaching faculty.
Dr.Singh has handled 16 projects worth Rs 121.1 Lakhs and generated 25 recommendations for the benefit of farming community.
He has published 34 research papers, one book, 3 booklets, 6 book chapters,8 folders,4 crop calenders,3 success stories and 30 popular articles.
As significant milestone Dr. Singh has developed state level Weed Museum in the Division of Agronomy at RARI, Durgapura in 2019 under the RKVY project on Weed Management. Dr. Singh has also credited to develop smart seminar cum class room in Division of Agronomy in 2019 at RARI, Durgapura.
Dr.Singh also served as member of committee for formulating draft of Agriculture policy of state (2019), Member of Agriculture Education policy of state (2018) and member of Common act & statute of Agriculture Universities of state(2019).
