About the College

College of Agriculture Bhusawar, Bharatpur was established on 7 April 2021 vide letter no P1(7) Ag-3/2021 Govt of Rajasthan under Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University (SKNAU) Jobner. It is a constituent college established with the mandate to provide quality education for undergraduates in the discipline of Agriculture.

The college is situated at latitude 27°01'59.9"N and longitude 77°04'08.2"E in agro-climatic zone III B (Flood Prone Eastern Plain Zone) of Rajasthan. It imparts skill-enhancing curriculum including nursery management, food processing, commercial horticulture, protected cultivation, organic farming, and AI-based cultivation.

The city Bhusawar, established by Raja Pratap Singh in 1726, is known as the "Town of Gardens" and "Laghukashi". It is famous for its best quality pickles and murrabba in Rajasthan.

Admission Procedure

Admission to B.Sc. (Hons) Ag programme (64 seats) is done through Joint Entrance Test (JET) for bonafide residents of Rajasthan.

Infrastructure & Facilities

The college maintains a dedicated farm of 30 Ha (13.77 ha at Kalmi Bag and 16.23 ha at Senthali village). Facilities include:

• Classrooms: Smart classrooms available at Senior Secondary School Bhusawar and Kalmi Bag.
• Laboratories: Well-equipped labs for various subjects to provide practical exposure.
• Library: Collection of 636 books and national newspapers.
• Farm: Availability of tractor, trolley, harrow, cultivator, seed drill, and sprayer.
• Student READY: Programs for Experiential Learning, Rural Work Experience, and Industrial Attachment.
• Sports: Dedicated grounds for Kabaddi, Volleyball, Badminton, etc.
