About Central Library

The university library was started in 2013 with the existing college library building in Jobner. The university library has an existing area of about 14000 sq. feet which is mainly scattered in different units with ventilated spacious air-conditioned reading rooms to provide dedicated services.

Mission & Vision

The primary mission is to provide adequate support for teaching, research, and extension programs by maximizing digital information resources. The vision is to make a Digital Resource Learning Center for all constituent colleges. We aim to create a digital learning environment equipped with RFID systems, CCTV, Wi-Fi, and online access to CeRA journals and theses.

Key Achievements (2023)

Appointments of Assistant Librarians and Library Assistants to digitize all constituent college libraries.
Upgraded Koha on Cloud (Version 23.05) installed for uniform data access across campuses.
More than 2500 university theses added to ICAR Krishikosh.
