Soil and Water Conservation Engineering

Dr. Dimple is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Agricultural Engineering), College of Agriculture, Kishangarhbas (Khairthal-Tijara) a constituent college of Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. She has received her PhD from MPUAT, Udaipur, India. She has received her M. Tech (Soil and Water Conservation Engineering) from Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur, Rajasthan, India and B. Tech (Agricultural Engineering) degree from Dr. Annasaheb Shinde College of Agriculture Engineering, Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, Maharashtra, India. She had received prestigious fellowships including ICAR-NTS, UGC, and DST-INSPIRE during UG, PG, and Ph.D. degree programmes, respectively. She is a reviewer for several scientific journals of international repute, and she is an editorial board member in the Discover Water Journal. She is an awardee of University Gold Medal from MPUAT, Udaipur, Rajasthan for outstanding performance during M. Tech degree programme.
She has previously worked as JRF under DST project entitled “North Indian Centre for Water Technology Research in Agriculture” at Water Technology Centre, ICAR-IARI-PUSA, New Delhi. Her research interest includes groundwater engineering, remote sensing & GIS, groundwater quality, and land and water resources management using Geo-spatial tools and soft computing/AI techniques. Dr. Dimple has participated and presented a research paper at 12th international conference organized by the Thai Society of Agriculture Engineeirng-2019, Thailand in person. She has published more than 25 research papers in national and international journals and participated/presented papers in various national and international conferences. She has published books and book chapters in national and international edited books and number of popular articles in the leading national magazines.
