Agricultural Economics

Dr. P. S. Shekhawat is an Assistant Professor in Department of Agricultural Economics at SKN College of Agriculture (Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University), Jobner, Jaipur since 2018. I did UG, PG and Ph.D. degree from Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner, and I have awarded by Gold Medal at PG and Ph.D. level. From 2008 to 2018, I was also served as principal at CPRG Agriculture College at Bhadra, Hanumangarh (Raj.).
I have experience of more than eighteen years of teaching in UG, more than seven years in M.Sc. and three years in Ph.D. courses. I have also conducting the research studies in the field of agricultural production, marketing, processing and post-harvest losses, impact of agricultural schemes, NSSO data based analysis etc. I have supervised 15 students of Master’s research and 01 student of Doctorate research theses in agricultural economics, SKNCOA, Jobner, from 2018 to 2025. I have publi shed more than 30 research papers in reputed national and international journals, along with book chapters, manuals, extension bulletins, and popular articles.
