Dr. Rajeev Kumar Narolia born on 19.12.1982 has been graduated from Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli, Dist. Ratnagiri (Maharashtra) in 2007 and Master’s degree from Dr. YSR Horticultural University, VRGudem, Dist. West Godavari (Andhra Pradesh) in 2010. He received ICAR’s Senior Research Fellowship in the discipline “Horticulture (Vegetable Science)” for pursuing the Ph.D. programme in ICAR’s All India examination, ICAR-SRF (PGS) 2009-10. He did his Directorate degree from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Distt. U. S. Nagar, Uttarakhand (India) in 2013. Dr. Narolia joined Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner as Assistant Professor in the year 2012 and served 11.5 years in the field of research, teaching and extension in University. Later, he is joined as Associate Professor (Horticulture) at Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner in 2023 Presently, he is working in SKN College of Agriculture, Jobner. Dr. Narolia has published 20 research papers in different journals of high repute, one review article, two manuals, thirty popular articles, two compendium, and 10 folders go to his credit. So far Dr. R. K. Narolia has guided 10 M. Sc. students and three Ph. D. student as Major advisor. He taught various courses of horticulture to B. Sc., M. Sc. and Ph. D. students. Dr. Narolia successfully conducted on two ICAR sponsored winter school, as Course Coordinator and four 7 days training as Co-coordinator. He has acted as Principal Investigator of RKVY project “Standardization of pressurized irrigation system in marigold for arid region of Rajasthan” and popularized marigold cultivation under drip irrigation in the arid region of Rajasthan state.
