Abiotic Stress, Mineral Nutrition and Fruit Physiology

Dr. Devi Lal Bagdi is an Assistant Professor of Plant Physiology at S.K.N. College of Agriculture, Jobner. Born in 1968 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, he holds a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology (2003) from the same institution. His extensive academic background is complemented by various post-doctoral research experiences across India, including tenures at the International Rice Research Institute and the Institute of Life Sciences.
Dr. Bagdi specializes in stress physiology and plant hormones. Since 2012, he has balanced teaching diverse undergraduate and graduate courses with significant research and student mentorship. He has guided 12 M.Sc. students as a major advisor and dozens more as a minor advisor across various departments. An accomplished author, he has published three books, five practical manuals, and over 50 research papers in prestigious journals. He is also a life member of several professional agricultural societies.
