Agricultural Economics

Dr. Vishnu Shankar Meena was born on 01 December 1984 at VPO Laban, District Bundi, Rajasthan. He completed his B.Sc. (Ag.) from MPUAT, Udaipur, M.Sc. (Agricultural Economics) from RAU, Bikaner, and Ph.D. (Agricultural Finance) from SKRAU, Bikaner. He served as Research Officer at AERC, University of Delhi (2012–2018) and joined S.K.N. Agriculture University, Jobner, as Assistant Professor in 2018. Presently, he is working at the College of Agriculture, Kotputli. He is a recipient of UGC-RGNF, JRF, and SRF fellowships, has published over 50 research papers and 40 popular articles, authored several books, and received Young Scientist, Best Teaching (2025), and Best Farm Awards from the Government of Rajasthan.
